This 150L autoclave replacement gasket is a 21.5" silicone-blend hatch seal, the exact gasket used on our 150L Commercial Pressure Sterilizer, and it fits most standard 150L vertical autoclaves.

How to replace the gasket
- Cool and vent. Make sure the autoclave is fully cooled and the gauge reads zero before you open the hatch.
- Remove the old gasket. Pull the worn gasket out of the hatch groove.
- Clean the groove. Wipe out any residue so the new gasket sits flat.
- Seat the new gasket. Press it evenly into the groove all the way around, with no twists or gaps.
- Test it. Close the hatch and run a cycle, watching that the chamber comes up to pressure and holds it.
When to replace it: Swap the gasket when it looks flattened, cracked or hardened, when steam escapes around the hatch, or when the autoclave struggles to reach or hold pressure.
