How It’s Used
- Attach the Myco Lid Pro™ and gasket to any standard wide-mouth mason jar containing liquid culture.
- Ensure the syringe filter and Luer Lock cap are installed to maintain sterile gas exchange.
- Use a Luer Lock syringe or the included deep-draw needle to extract culture without removing the lid.
- Label strain name and date directly on the raised lid surface for easy tracking.
- After use, clean and sterilize the lid components for repeated cycles.
How It Works
Unlike traditional jar lids that require repeated puncturing or removal, the Myco Lid Pro™ provides direct Luer Lock access to your liquid culture. This allows culture to be drawn cleanly from the jar without tilting, opening, or compromising the internal environment.
The independently rotating gasket creates a reliable airtight seal while reducing stress on the lid during tightening. Constructed from autoclavable Delrin® (POM), the lid withstands repeated sterilization cycles without warping, cracking, or degrading—ensuring long-term reliability.

I recently bought the Midwest Growers small mushroom monotub 2-pack (amazing price for two). They are perfect size for a colonized block! I am currently growing two shiitake blocks and one king trumpet mushroom block and the tubs make it very easy.
My second time growing. First time I bought two different brands of all in one bags from Amazon. Did not work, they both stalled and never fruited. This little kit was my last ditch effort and I’m sitting here less than 8 weeks after ordering and amazing results
I ordered 2 - 10lb blocks and was a little worried that they were plainly wrapped and different sizes. I weighed them and 1 was 8lbs the other 12lbs so the total was correct. Expanded to the expected volume (picture included of smaller block)

I bought the Deluxe Spawn Bag Growing and Casing Kit.
And it more than exceeded my expectations. Everything in the kit was top quality. It came with absolutely everything I need to grow from start to finish. And with the help of the detailed instructions on how to properly sanitize an inoculate the grain bags. I was able to successfully inoculate both bags without contaminating them. They have already Begun to show signs of growth, and it's only been just over a week. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone wanting to grow for the first time or anyone looking for a complete kit at a great price.

Purchased 2 other brands of all-in-one bags from other vendors and they both ended up getting thrown out after 3 months of almost no colonization or just sitting fully colonized and never producing anything. This was the first bag to actually work for me! I would highly recommend using their 3-pack of quick culture jars first to germinate spores and then inject like 20cc of the culture, this sped my grow up by a month I feel.
