Description
The Bonsai HEPAFLOW-12 Replacement Filter is the 12" x 12" H14 HEPA filter for Bonsai 12" laminar flow hoods, rated 99.995% efficient at 0.3 microns — the same filter that ships in the hood.
It's rated for 3,000 hours of use, or about 3–5 years of normal use. Swap in a fresh filter when airflow drops off, when the filter media is damaged, or when it reaches the end of its rated life.

How to replace the filter
- Unplug the hood. Disconnect power before opening the housing.
- Open the housing. Remove the faceplate or front panel to reach the filter.
- Swap the filter. Lift out the old filter and set the new one in place, oriented the same way.
- Check the seal. Make sure the filter sits flat and fully seated so no air bypasses the media.
- Reassemble and run. Close the housing, power on and let the hood run before you start work.
When to replace it: Replace the filter at the end of its rated life, if airflow at the filter face drops noticeably, or if the filter media is punctured or damaged.
