This kit contains everything you need to start growing your own mushrooms (except the genetics of course).
I inoculated the grain with Gorilla Wizard LC on 3/1 then did a break n’ shake on 3/12.
11 days later on 3/23 I transferred the grain spawn to bulk substrate in the monotub (I added a casing layer on top).
It’s been about a week now and it’s showing nice recolonization :)
I’m very pleased with this kit. The 44q container is fantastic! It has a tall lid so your mushrooms are able to grow and stretch :) I’ve tried other monotubs (like the inflatable one - the concept was great the practicality of it wasn’t quite up to par),
So far everything about this company has been great, I haven’t had any contamination or anything. I will update in a couple weeks the outcome of my Gorilla Wizard grow :)

These silicone lid covers are a game changer. When I prep grains, water always finds a way under the foil and onto my lids no matter how tight I get the foil. These lids go on quickly and keep my jar lids nice and dry! This is big for anyone using paper filter patches for gas exchange. Thank you Midwest for having exactly what I needed!

I know these are probably designed for all-in-one setups, but recently I've come to find spawning 2 bulk in these types of bags incredibly effective. Instead of mixing a grain bag (2-2.26 lbs) into 5 lbs of substrate in a pan, I like to make two nice big round babies with the same amount. For measure, these bags could easily hold 10 lbs of materials, and the real reason I got them was due to the concern that the tops of the smaller ones would not so easily receive pouring from other large bags. Plus, the sale price and potential for extra filtered air flow sold me solid. That said, the downfall of such a large bag was sealing them was much more difficult. I should have ordered MGK's expert bag-sealing device instead of the inoperable hank of jank I wound up having to return. Nevertheless, tape sufficed.

I almost bought the regular Complete 44Q Kit and saw this and decided to splurge. All I can say is it was well worth it. Everything colonized and re-colonized much faster. I used to use a space heater in my grow room and that added a chunk of cash to my electric bill. This setup is awesome. I am only 9 days after breaking up my spawn bag and mixing with substrate and I am seeing pins everywhere! My only suggestion is to add 3 filter disks on the opposite side of the air pump. This helped me dial it in in my room which is already kinda humid here in Georgia.

No bacteria no broken jars solid 10/10 perfect condition. Will be Buying more!❤️

I love y'all's mono tubs they work great I would like to have a top for one of them it's about 6 in taller just so I can get this one strand of mushroom that grows a foot tall but I'm going to work out something with that different with the whole group that I think.

Absolutely grateful I bought 2. Makes the whole process, start to finish, seemless. Instructions are easy to follow. Dont open the lid, just follow the directions. Keep that special little biom isolated to do its thing. FAE suggestions worked beautifully. I tried the black bag liner one run and without on another. I think I prefer without the liner. This tek was perfect. Happy growing!

I have struggled getting the rice recipe for Cordyceps correct. Order this and never even opened till harvest. Just set it up under my red light and it took off. First flush really surprised me and I have a second flush coming now.
