The Bonsai HEPAFLOW-12 Clear Coat + Extra Filter Bundle pairs the same 12"×12" horizontal laminar flow hood used across the Bonsai personal lineup with a second H14 HEPA filter included in the box — a ready spare for when your installed filter reaches the end of its service life. Both filters are rated 99.995% efficient at 0.3 microns.

How it's used

Assemble. Use the tool-free Click n' Twist system — about 15 minutes.
Power on. Let the HEPA-filtered air run for a few minutes to establish a steady laminar flow before starting work.
Set up your work. Position your agar plates, jars, or syringes inside the sterile air curtain at the front of the work surface.
Work in the airflow. Perform transfers, pours, or inoculations within the airflow zone, keeping hands and tools inside the curtain.
Swap in the spare when it's time. Store the spare filter in its packaging until airflow drops or the installed filter reaches about 3,000 hours of use, or 3–5 years under normal use.

Keep the spare sealed: leave the extra filter in its packaging until you need it, so it goes into the hood clean.
