The Deep Draw Extra Long 5 Inch 16G Sterile Syringe Needles

The Microppose Deep Draw is a 5-inch, 16-gauge sterile syringe needle custom-made for mycology — long enough to reach the bottom of a liquid culture jar or deep into a grain jar or spawn bag, and wide enough for thick culture to flow without clogging.

Standard syringe needles are about 1.5 inches, which means tilting jars and chasing the last of your culture. Deep Draw needles were built with a medical supplier specifically for growers, and they are the only 5-inch 16G needles made for mycology. Each one is individually wrapped, sterile and fits any Luer lock syringe.

How to use it

1. Open one needle. Unwrap a fresh sterile needle right before use.
2. Attach it. Twist it securely onto a Luer lock syringe.
3. Draw. Insert through the jar's injection port and draw culture from the bottom of the jar.
4. Inject. Inoculate through the injection port of your grain jar, spawn bag or all-in-one bag.
5. Use a fresh needle. Dispose of the needle after use and open a new one for your next transfer.
