Description
Silica gel drying canisters keep dried mushrooms protected from moisture in storage. Drop a few into a bag, jar or container and the 2g silica gel inside each vented canister soaks up humidity to help prevent moisture buildup and mold.
They also help finish the job: if a batch is almost dry, or you’re not sure it’s fully dry, seal a handful of canisters in the bag with your mushrooms and they’re typically cracker-dry within about 24 hours. Each canister uses a vented, food-safe plastic housing that keeps the silica contained.

- Absorbs moisture – Pulls humidity out of the air inside bags, jars and containers.
- Helps prevent mold – Keeps dried mushrooms from picking up moisture while they’re stored.
- Finishes drying – A handful in the bag can finish off an almost-dry batch within about 24 hours.
- Contained and clean – The vented, food-safe plastic housing keeps silica gel inside the canister.
- Small and easy – The 2g size fits into zip-lock freezer bags, mylar bags and jars.

- Add canisters. Use 4–5 canisters per ½ ounce of dried mushrooms, then seal.
- Store cool and dark. Keep the container somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight.
- Swap as needed. Replace the canisters if storage conditions change or the container is exposed to moisture.
