Description

The MycoClimate™ 66Q Automated Monotub Kit is a complete, climate-controlled mushroom grow kit: a large 66-quart monotub with water-bath heating, filtered active fresh air exchange, a full-spectrum LED grow light and a programmable timer — plus two Premium 5-Grain spawn bags and 10 lbs of pasteurized bulk substrate. Just add spores or liquid culture.

A passive monotub depends on the temperature and air of the room it sits in. The MycoClimate™ system builds a water reservoir under the grow chamber, warms it with a digital aquarium heater for even radiant heat, and uses a quiet air pump to push filtered air into the tub — so conditions stay steady from colonization through fruiting, even in a closet or basement.

  • Large 66Q monotub
  • Water-bath heating
  • Filtered active FAE
  • Spawn + substrate included
  • 66QLarge monotub
  • 50WDigital heater
  • 900 lmLED grow light
  • 2 bags5-grain spawn
  • 10 lbsBulk substrate

Why growers choose MycoClimate™

  • Even water-bath heat – The heater warms a reservoir under the grow chamber, so heat surrounds the substrate gently with no hot spots and without drying it out.
  • Continuous filtered fresh air – An electric air pump pushes air through a silicone hose lined with HEPA-grade fiberglass filter material and out a diffuser stone, cutting stale air and CO₂ buildup.
  • Light and air on a schedule – A 900-lumen dual-spectrum LED and a 24-hour programmable timer run the light and air cycles for you.
  • Large 66Q chamber – Our largest automated tub, for bigger harvests per run — one tub handles both colonization and fruiting.
  • Complete kit – Spawn, substrate, lighting, climate-control parts and accessories are all in the box.

What's in the kit

  • Custom digital thermometer & hygrometer — read temperature and humidity from outside the tub
  • Grower's Select Smart 50W digital submersible aquarium heater with adjustable thermostat
  • Ultra-quiet electric air pump
  • Silicone air hose lined with HEPA-grade fiberglass filter material, with an air diffuser stone
  • Heavy-duty 24-hour timer with multiple programmable cycles per day

You provide: spores or liquid culture to inoculate the spawn bags.

How it works

  1. Inoculate the spawn. Inject spores or liquid culture into the two spawn bags and let the grain colonize.
  2. Set up the water bath. Fill the reservoir under the grow chamber, add the heater and set the thermostat for your room temperature.
  3. Spawn to bulk. Line the tub, mix the colonized grain into the 10 lbs of bulk substrate and level the surface.
  4. Colonize. Keep the lid on with the heater running until the surface is fully white.
  5. Fruit and harvest. Hang the LED, set the timer for your light and air-pump cycles, mist as needed and harvest each flush.
Monotub lid plug fitted with the filtered air line and diffuser stone

The custom lid plug routes filtered air into the tub through a diffuser stone.

See it before you buy. Our illustrated MycoClimate setup & instructions guide walks the full cycle with photos — water volumes and heater settings by room temperature, air-pump timer cycles by stage, spawning, fruiting, harvest and cleanup. You can also watch the full setup video.

Already own a tub?The MycoClimate 66Q Automation Upgrade Kit adds the same heating, air and lighting to a Large 66Q Grower's Select monotub you already have. For your next run, the Large 66Q refill kit restocks spawn and substrate.

Common questions

What do I need to add?

Only spores or liquid culture to inoculate the spawn bags. Everything else — tub, heater, air pump, light, timer, spawn and substrate — is included.

How does the water-bath heating work?

The submersible heater sits in the water reservoir beneath the grow chamber. The warm water heats the chamber evenly from below, so the substrate stays warm without hot spots or drying out.

Why does a monotub need an air pump?

A passive monotub relies on its filter holes for fresh air. The pump pushes filtered air in on a timer, which keeps CO₂ from building up during fruiting. The hose is lined with HEPA-grade fiberglass filter material so incoming air is filtered.

Is it good for beginners?

Yes. It is built for beginner to intermediate growers — the heater, air pump and timer take care of the conditions that are hardest to manage in a basic monotub, and a printed guide and video library are included.

Can I reuse the kit?

Yes. After your last flush, clean the tub and restock with a refill kit of spawn and substrate. The heater, pump, light and timer are reusable.

What is the difference between this and the upgrade kit?

This complete kit includes the 66Q monotub, spawn and substrate. The upgrade kit includes only the automation, lighting and filtration parts for growers who already own a Large 66Q Grower's Select monotub.

Where can I find setup instructions?

A printed guide and video library access come in the box, and the full illustrated MycoClimate setup & instructions guide is on our website.
