What jars does the Myco Lid Pro fit?
Any standard wide-mouth mason jar. The gasket and lid are sized for the common wide-mouth canning jar thread, so it drops onto jars you're likely already using for liquid culture.
Can I sterilize and reuse the lid?
Yes. The lid body is autoclavable Delrin® (POM), built to hold up to repeated sterilization cycles without warping or cracking. Clean and sterilize the lid, gasket, and cap between uses just like any other lab hardware.
Do I need a special syringe or needle to use it?
A standard Luer Lock syringe works with the access port. A 16G 5″ Luer Lock deep-draw sterile needle is included in the box, so you have what you need to start drawing culture right away.
What happens when the pre-installed injection port wears out?
