Description
Liquid Graphite Heating Mat – Even Infrared Heat with Zero Hot Spots (21" x 11")
Maintain stable, consistent incubation temperatures with the Liquid Graphite Heating Mat. Unlike traditional wire-based heating pads that create dangerous hot spots, this advanced infrared heating mat uses liquid graphite technology to distribute heat evenly across the entire surface. The result? Reliable warmth without overheating your substrate, drying out your grow, or warping plastic bins.
Designed specifically for monotubs, incubation chambers, grain jars, and spawn bags, this 21" x 11" heating mat delivers efficient bottom heat while using just 28 watts of power. It’s a smarter, safer solution for growers who demand consistency.
Why Growers Choose This Heating Mat
- Even Surface Heating – Liquid graphite core eliminates hot spots
- Infrared Heat Transfer – Warms solid surfaces instead of heating the air
- Energy Efficient – Uses only 28W while delivering powerful performance
- Adjustable Temperature Dial – Fine-tune output from approximately 67°F–86°F
- Perfect for Monotubs & Incubation – Designed for bottom heat applications
- Safe & Stable – No exposed heating wires
How It Works
Traditional heating pads rely on internal wire coils that create uneven warmth and concentrated hot spots. This heating mat uses liquid graphite infrared technology to distribute heat evenly across the entire surface area.
Infrared heat transfers through solid materials instead of heating the surrounding air. This makes it ideal for controlled grow environments where stable bottom heat is essential for colonization and incubation.
How To Use (Step-by-Step Setup)
Follow these simple steps to properly dial in your incubation temperature:
1. Placement
Place the heating mat on a flat surface. If setting up on cold concrete floors, lay down a Mylar space blanket first to reflect heat upward.
2. Add a Buffer Layer
Place a thick towel or folded cloth on top of the heating mat. Never place bins or jars directly on the mat without a buffer layer.
3. Position Your Grow Container
Set your monotub, grain jars, or spawn bags on top of the towel and close the lid.
4. Dial Adjustment
Turn the dial to maximum briefly to confirm it is warming. Then reduce to approximately 50% power to establish a baseline. Allow at least one hour for temperature stabilization before adjusting further.
Important: The dial does not have markings. Once you find the ideal temperature setting for your room, mark the dial position with a pen or permanent marker for future reference.
Recommended Temperature Range: 72°F – 76°F for most tropical strains (some may tolerate 74°F – 78°F).
For maximum precision and automatic regulation, pair this mat with our Digital Temperature Controller Thermostat for hands-free stability.
