Description
A cracked or warped lid takes a perfectly good tub out of rotation. These are genuine Grower's Select replacement lids, sold on their own — clear polypropylene with the 2" fresh air exchange holes already cut and positioned. Pick your size above: 28Q, 44Q or 66Q.

This is the lid by itself. No tub base, liner, filter disks or clips are included. The breathable disks that cover the holes are sold separately in monotub filter disks & accessories.
What each lid gives you
- Pre-cut 2" FAE holes — positioned for balanced airflow across the whole substrate surface, so pinning comes up evenly instead of only at one end.
- Sized for standard filter disks — the holes take any standard 2.5" adhesive disk, and the same holes take our hole plugs during colonization.
- Clear polypropylene — check colonization and pinning without lifting the lid and disturbing the chamber.
- Seats firmly on the matching base — holds humidity where a mismatched lid leaks along the rim.

How the lid works in the grow cycle
- Plug the holes for colonization — sealed, humid and CO₂-rich is what mycelium wants while it runs the block.
- Swap plugs for filter disks once the surface is fully colonized.
- Fresh air exchange starts — CO₂ escapes through the disks, fresh air comes in, and that shift is what triggers pinning.
- Keep the lid clear — wipe condensation off the outside so you can watch the flush without opening the tub.

Which size do I need?
Match it to your tub: 28Q, 44Q or 66Q. If you're unsure, measure the tub's footprint against the size guide above — 12" × 12" is the 28Q cube, 18" × 15.5" the 44Q, 22.5" × 15.5" the 66Q.
Are the filter disks included?
No, the holes come cut but uncovered. Standard 2.5" adhesive filter disks cover them for fruiting; hole plugs seal them during colonization.
Will it fit a tub from another brand?
These are molded for Grower's Select bases. Other brands use different rim dimensions, so a proper seal isn't guaranteed outside our own tubs.
