Food-grade silicone replacement gasket for the Bonsai 25Q electric autoclave. Restores a tight lid seal so the chamber reaches and holds pressure. Replace yearly, or every 6 months with heavy use.

Description

This replacement lid gasket is the food-grade silicone seal for the Bonsai 25Q Fully Automatic Electric Pressure Sterilizer, molded to match the original lid gasket so the sterilizer seals and holds pressure.

The gasket wears with every cycle. The factory recommends replacing it once a year, or every 6 months in high-use applications — keep a spare on hand so a worn seal never stops a sterilization run.

Why growers keep a spare gasket

  • Precision fit – Molded to match the original contour of the Bonsai 25Q lid for a snug, leak-free seal.
  • Built for heat – Food-grade silicone rated from -40°C to over 200°C, so it holds its shape through sterilization cycles.
  • Holds pressure – A good seal lets the sterilizer reach and hold its target pressure without steam leaks.
  • No downtime – A spare on the shelf turns a worn seal into a quick swap.
  • Low-cost upkeep – Replace just the gasket instead of the whole lid.

What's included

  • One food-grade silicone replacement lid gasket for the Bonsai 25Q Electric Pressure Sterilizer

How to replace the gasket

  1. Cool and depressurize. Make sure the sterilizer is off, fully cooled and at zero pressure before opening the lid.
  2. Remove the old gasket. Pull the worn gasket out of the lid groove.
  3. Clean the groove. Wipe out any residue so the new gasket seats flat.
  4. Press it in. Press the new gasket evenly into the lid groove all the way around.
  5. Test it. Run a cycle and confirm the sterilizer comes up to pressure with no steam leaking around the lid.

When to replace it: Once a year with normal use, every 6 months with heavy use, or sooner if the gasket cracks, hardens or lets steam escape around the lid.
