Slotted 23.5" x 15.5" x 4.5" tray for harvesting, carrying and fan-drying mushrooms. Air flows through the base and sides, debris falls through, and it washes clean. Made in Canada.

Description

The Mushroom Harvest & Drying Tray is a slotted 23.5" x 15.5" x 4.5" tray for picking, carrying and air-drying your harvest. Air moves through the base and all four sides, so fresh mushrooms don't sit in their own moisture.

Use it to carry a flush from the grow room to the kitchen, as a drying rack in front of a fan, or as a caddy for spawn bags and cultivation tools. The slots let loose substrate and debris fall through, and the smooth plastic washes clean between harvests. Made in Canada.

Why growers pick this tray

  • Airflow on every side – Slots in the base and walls let air reach the mushrooms from below as well as above, which helps prevent moisture build-up.
  • Room for a full flush – At 23.5" x 15.5" x 4.5", it holds a generous harvest and is still easy to carry.
  • Debris falls through – Loose casing, substrate and dirt drop out through the slots instead of collecting under your mushrooms.
  • Easy to carry – Lightweight, with handles built into the ends.
  • Washes clean – The smooth surface rinses off quickly, so the tray is ready for the next flush.

How to use it for harvest and drying

  1. Harvest into the tray. Lay mushrooms in as you pick so they don't get crushed in a bag or bowl.
  2. Spread them out. Arrange the harvest in a single layer so air can reach every side.
  3. Add airflow. Set the tray in a dry room with a fan blowing across it. Raising it off the counter lets air move under the slotted base too.
  4. Finish drying. Fan drying removes most of the moisture. Finish in a dehydrator until the mushrooms snap cleanly — cracker dry.
  5. Store and clean. Move dried mushrooms to airtight storage, then wash the tray and let it dry before the next flush.

Getting to cracker dry: Air drying alone rarely gets mushrooms dry enough for long-term storage. Finish them in the Mycolabs 350W Mushroom Dehydrator, then store them with silica gel drying canisters.

FAQ

How big is the tray?

It measures 23.5" x 15.5" x 4.5", large enough for a generous harvest and still easy to carry.

Can I dry mushrooms on it?

Yes. Spread mushrooms in a single layer and set the tray in front of a fan. The slotted base and sides let air reach the mushrooms from every direction. For long-term storage, finish them in a dehydrator until they are cracker dry.

Why is the tray slotted?

The slots let air move under and around the harvest so moisture doesn't build up, and they let loose substrate and dirt fall through.

What else can I use it for?

It works as a carrier for spawn bags and cultivation tools, and as a utility tray for garden produce and supplies.

How do I clean it?

Rinse and wash the smooth plastic surface, then let it dry before your next harvest.

Where is it made?

The tray is made in Canada.
