Description

The All-in-One Bulk Monobag Kit is the easy way from a single jar to a bulk harvest. Inoculate the sterilized 30 oz 5-grain jar, let it colonize, then mix it with 5 lbs of Midwest Select Casing Mix inside a heavy-duty filtered monobag — no monotub or greenhouse needed.

It is built for growers who have run jars and want their first bulk grow without building a tub setup. Every piece is in the box: the jar, the pasteurized casing mix, the gusseted monobag with pre-cut filter holes, filter disks, clamps and a spray bottle.

Why growers pick the monobag kit

  • A real step up from jars – Spawning a colonized jar into 5 lbs of substrate gives you a bulk grow instead of a single jar's worth.
  • Simple two-stage process – Colonize the jar, then mix it into the casing mix in the bag.
  • No tub or greenhouse – The self-supporting monobag is the fruiting chamber, with filtered air exchange built in.
  • Ready-to-use substrate – The Select Casing Mix comes pasteurized and moisture-balanced — no prep.
  • Everything included – Even the filter disks, clamps and spray bottle.

What's in the kit

  • 30 oz 5-grain jar, pre-sterilized, with a self-healing injection port
  • 5 lbs Midwest Select Casing Mix — coir, vermiculite and pH buffers, pasteurized and moisture-balanced
  • 12" × 8" × 20" gusseted polybag (8 mil), self-supporting, with pre-cut 1.66" filter holes
  • 2 × 2" adhesive monotub filter disks
  • 2 × bag clamps
  • Spray bottle

How to grow with it

  1. Inoculate the jar. Wipe the self-healing port with alcohol and inject your spores or liquid culture.
  2. Colonize the jar. Keep it warm and out of direct light until the grain is fully colonized.
  3. Mix into the monobag. Apply the filter disks over the pre-cut holes, add the casing mix to the bag, break up the colonized grain and mix it through.
  4. Let it colonize. Fold and clamp the top. Colonization typically completes in 10–14 days after mixing.
  5. Fruit and harvest. Give the bag indirect light, mist to hold humidity, and harvest when the caps are ready.

Common questions

What is a monobag?

A monobag is a large, self-supporting filtered grow bag used like a monotub. You mix colonized grain into bulk substrate inside the bag, let it colonize, and fruit it in the same bag.

How is this different from an All-in-One bag?

An All-in-One bag has the grain and substrate sealed together from the start. In the monobag kit you colonize a jar first, then mix it into the casing mix yourself — a good first taste of true bulk technique.

Is the casing mix ready to use?

Yes. The Midwest Select Casing Mix comes pasteurized and moisture-balanced, so it goes straight into the bag.

How long does it take after mixing?

Colonization typically completes in 10–14 days after you mix the colonized jar into the casing mix.

What else do I need?

Only spores or liquid culture for the jar.
