How to Use Your Liquid Culture Syringe
- Let the syringe come to room temperature, then shake gently to redistribute the mycelium evenly through the broth.
- Flame-sterilize the needle until it glows orange and let it cool for a few seconds.
- Wipe the injection port on your prepared PF Tek jar with the alcohol prep pad.
- Inject 2–3cc per jar. One 10cc syringe will start roughly three to four jars.
- Keep the jars at 65–75°F in dim light and let the mycelium run.
- Once growth is well established, take the jar into a completely dark room, wait several minutes for your eyes to adjust, and look for the green glow.

What is the best way to grow it?
