Description
The All-in-One Monotub Starter Kit pairs our 4 lb All-in-One grow bag with a Grower's Select 28Q monotub and 2 lbs of extra CVG substrate. Colonize in the bag, then move the cake into the tub for a much bigger fruiting surface — the easiest bridge from bag growing to monotubs.
Everything is in the box except your spores or liquid culture: the sterilized bag, the tub with filter disks, plugs and liner, the extra substrate, a fine-mist spray bottle and a quick-start guide. It all fits in a 12" × 12" footprint.
- 6 lbsTotal grain + substrate
- 4 lbAll-in-One bag
- 28QMonotub, 12" cube
- 2 lbsExtra CVG
- 4Filter disks + plugs
Why growers pick the starter kit
- Bag simplicity, tub surface area – Colonize in a sterile bag, then fruit across the full width of a monotub instead of just the top of a bag.
- Nothing extra to buy – Bag, tub, filters, plugs, liner, extra substrate and spray bottle are all included — add spores or liquid culture.
- Small footprint – The 28Q tub is a 12" cube.
- Sterile start – The All-in-One bag is pressure-sterilized in-house and shipped fresh.
- Reusable tub – Wash the monotub after harvest and run it again with a refill.
What's in the kit
- 4 lb All-in-One grow bag — 1.75 lbs milo, millet & rye grain + 2.25 lbs CVG substrate, 0.22 micron filter patch, self-healing injection port
- Grower's Select 28-quart monotub (12" × 12" × 12")
- 2 lbs Select Bulk Substrate (CVG: coco coir, vermiculite & gypsum)
- 4 × monotub filter disks and 4 × plugs
- Custom fitted liner — helps prevent side pinning and makes cleanup easy
- Fine-mist spray bottle
- Quick-start guide with step-by-step instructions
How to grow with it
- Inoculate the bag. Inject 4–5cc of spores or 5–10cc of liquid culture through the bag's self-healing port. Not sure how many syringes to buy? Use our syringe calculator.
- Incubate and break and shake. Keep the bag at 72–76°F. At roughly 50–75% colonization, break up the grain and mix it through the substrate, then let it finish colonizing.
- Move it to the tub. Line the monotub, break the colonized bag contents into it, and mix in the 2 lbs of Select Bulk Substrate. Level the surface, plug the holes and let it recolonize.
- Fruit. When the surface is fully white, pull the plugs, give the tub indirect light and mist to keep the surface humid.
- Harvest and repeat. Pick each flush and rehydrate for more. Wash the tub afterward and reuse it.

Common questions
Why move the bag into a monotub?
A monotub gives the colonized substrate a much wider, flatter fruiting surface than the top of a bag, with filtered air exchange through the tub's filter disks. That is where most bulk growers see their biggest flushes.
What do I do with the extra 2 lbs of substrate?
When the bag is fully colonized, break its contents into the lined 28Q tub and mix the 2 lbs of Select Bulk Substrate through it. Level the surface and let it recolonize before fruiting.
What else do I need?
Only spores or liquid culture. Use 4–5cc of spores or 5–10cc of liquid culture.
Can I reuse the monotub?
Yes. After your last flush, pull the liner, wash and disinfect the tub, and run it again with fresh spawn and substrate.
