Description
The Fresh Air Amplifier Fan Unit adds real, active fresh air exchange to the Ecosphere greenhouse, a Martha tent, or any clear-cover grow tent. A quiet 4" brushless fan pulls air through a washable filter vent, clearing the CO2 that builds up around fruiting mushrooms so caps form thick and full instead of long and leggy.
Peel-and-stick filter disks give passive air exchange that is fine for many species, but oysters, lion's mane and a fully loaded tent use more oxygen than passive disks can supply. The Fresh Air Amplifier closes that gap with airflow you can dial up or down.

How to install it
- Pick the position. Mount it near the top of the tent to push fresh air in, or near the bottom to pull out CO2, which is heavier than air and settles low.
- Cut the opening. Mark the vent size on the tent cover and cut a clean opening, following the included instructions.
- Stick it in place. Peel the pre-installed adhesive and press the vent firmly around the opening.
- Set the speed and schedule. Plug the adapter into a timer, set the speed dial, and watch your hygrometer — raise the speed if you see long stems, lower it if humidity drops too far.
Balance air and humidity: more fresh air also dries the tent faster. Pair the fan with a digital humidity controller on your humidifier so moisture tops back up automatically after each fresh-air cycle.

Common questions
Which Ecosphere systems does it fit?
It works with the Mushroom Ecosphere 3.0, the Foundation Edition, the Essentials and Monster Monsoon packages, and the Martha tent. It mounts to the tent cover with its own adhesive, so it also works on most clear-cover grow tents.
Should I mount it at the top or the bottom?
Either works. Mounted high, it pushes fresh air into the tent; mounted low, it pulls out CO2, which is heavier than air and collects near the bottom. Many growers mount it low as an exhaust and let fresh air enter through the filter disks higher up.
Do I need it if my tent already has filter disks?
Not always. Filter disks give passive air exchange that works for many grows. Add the fan if you see long stems and small caps, if you mainly grow oysters or lion's mane, or if every shelf is full.
Will it dry out my tent?
More airflow does lower humidity faster. Start on a low speed and a short timer cycle, and pair it with a digital humidity controller so your humidifier switches on automatically when humidity drops.
Can I run it on a timer?
Yes. It plugs into any standard timer, such as our 24-hour timer, so you can schedule fresh-air cycles through the day.
