The Grower's Select Small 28Q 2-Pack monotub gives you two compact 28-quart heavy-wall tubs, each with four 2.5" adhesive filter disks, four hole plugs and a custom pre-cut liner. Run two strains side by side, stagger harvests, or keep one fruiting while the other colonizes.

Each 12" cube tub takes a single grain jar or half a spawn bag with 4–5 lbs of substrate, so two of them fit where one larger tub would — and you get two independent grows instead of one.

How to run it

1. Line the tub. Fit the liner into a clean tub. It keeps substrate off the plastic, helps prevent side pinning, and makes cleanup a matter of lifting it out.
2. Plug the holes and spawn. Insert the plugs, then mix one 24–32 oz grain jar or half a spawn bag into 4–5 lbs of pasteurized bulk substrate — roughly 1 part grain to 3 parts substrate. Level the surface.
3. Colonize. Keep the lid on and the plugs in at room temperature until white mycelium covers the surface.
4. Switch to fruiting. Pull the plugs so the filter disks can exchange air, give the tub indirect light, and keep the surface humid.
5. Harvest and repeat. Pick each flush, rehydrate the cake, and run more flushes. When the tub is spent, pull the liner and wash the tub for the next grow.
