How does a flowhood work with mushroom growing?

This model is a horizontal flowhood which creates a low velocity air flow that blows toward you. This air is super filtered and is 99.99% sterile. It can be used in any environment for many different things. The sterile moving air allows you to work in the space and open up substrate jars, bags, transfers, make spore syringes, work with agar plates and much more. If you ever experienced mold from inoculations, this will eliminate that.

Good flowhood for an introduction into the hobby.
Worth the value you can get in return for clean air, which leads to success in your mycology endeavors.

I don't want to speak too soon, but I've had a 0% contamination rate since using this flow hood. It is the perfect size for everything I do, I was worried it might be too small for my work but it's just right for mycology uses.

      Works like described!

Perfect for any hobby user! You will be so happy when you can work with agar and grain transfers using this instead of a Still air box, its a dream! Makes this hobby so much more fun! Well built, and very simple to use and move around. 100% success so far! You could build a bigger one yourself but it would cost you only a little less and if you're not a carpenter then I would recommend this to anyone! I do not use the side plexiglass and have had no issues. I think if you are new to the hobby it acts more like a guard rail to keep you in the right space but really not needed!

Can't say enough good things about this little flowhood! Looks like they use a CNC machine for the frame! (expensive) and I love the updated switch! So far 100% sucess and zero contams! Plenty of space for anyone that isnt doing commercial growing
