Monotub harvesting tool with an 8" curved handle and carbide blade that slices mushrooms cleanly at the base without disturbing the substrate. Blade cover included.

Description

The Canopy Cutter is a monotub harvesting tool that slides under a dense canopy and slices mushrooms cleanly at the base. An 8" curved handle gives you reach and control, and the sharp carbide blade cuts without pulling up the substrate.

No more reaching in and twisting off a flush by hand or tipping heavy tubs. A clean cut at the base leaves your substrate and casing layer intact — no divots — and ready for the next flush. A blade cover is included for safe storage between harvests.

Why growers use the Canopy Cutter

  • Reach under the canopy – The 8" curved handle gets under dense flushes and into tight spaces.
  • Sharp, long-lasting blade – The carbide blade resists dulling, so it doesn’t need frequent sharpening or replacement.
  • Leaves the substrate intact – Cuts cleanly at the base instead of pulling mushrooms out, so you don’t leave divots in the casing.
  • Less handling – No lifting tubs or forcing your hand inside.
  • Safe storage – A blade cover protects the edge, and your hands, between harvests.

How to use it

  1. Clean the blade. Wipe the blade with alcohol before you harvest.
  2. Slide under the canopy. Work the curved blade in at the base of the mushrooms, just above the surface of the substrate.
  3. Cut cleanly. Slice through the stems in one smooth motion without pulling.
  4. Clean and cover. Wipe the blade clean and put the cover back on for storage.
