Cutting a trash bag to fit a cube tub is ten minutes of scissors work that never quite lines up. These liners are pre-cut to 12" × 12" for the 28Q cube monotub, factory folded and UV-C sterilized — unfold, press into the corners, fold over the rim, and you're spawning in under a minute.

What a liner actually does for the grow
- Cuts side pinning — blocks light along the tub walls, so the flush comes up on top of the substrate where you want it instead of down the sides.
- Better edge microclimate — as the cake shrinks during fruiting the liner collapses with it, keeping the gap at the wall sealed rather than opening a dry channel.
- Substrate never touches the tub — no stained plastic, no scrubbing dried casing out of the corners.
- Cleanup is a lift — pull the liner with the spent block in it and the tub is ready for the next run.

How to install
- Unfold the liner and drop it into the empty tub.
- Press into the base and corners so it sits flat with no trapped air pockets underneath.
- Fold the excess over the rim to hold it in place — the lid holds it the rest of the way.
- Spawn as normal — add colonized grain and bulk substrate straight onto the liner.
- Lift it out after harvest, spent block and all, and the tub needs nothing more than a wipe.
Match the liner to the tub. Liners are size-specific. An oversized liner bunches at the corners and traps water; an undersized one leaves wall exposed and side pins come right through the gap.

Frequently asked questions
Will these fit a tub that isn't a Grower's Select or Microppose?
They're cut for the 28Q cube footprint, so any cube-style tub close to that size will work. Measure the inside base of your tub before ordering — if it's noticeably larger, the medium liner is the better match.
Do liners really reduce side pinning?
They help, because side pins are largely a light response along the tub wall and the liner blocks that light. They aren't a complete fix on their own — spawning to a proper depth and keeping the tub out of direct light matter just as much.
Do I need to sterilize the liner before use?
No. Each liner is UV-C treated before packaging and comes factory folded. Handle it with clean hands, unfold it into the tub, and spawn as normal.
Are they reusable?
Most growers treat them as single-use and pull the liner with the spent block at the end of a run — that's the whole point of the cleanup savings. They're inexpensive enough that reusing one isn't worth the contamination risk.
Does anything change about my normal monotub workflow?
No. Grain-to-substrate ratio, spawn depth, fanning and misting all stay the same. The liner just sits between the substrate and the tub. For the 28Q that's one 32 oz grain jar or one spawn bag to roughly four pounds of bulk substrate.
