The Grow Big Bundle is a complete three-monotub mushroom growing package built around Willy's Blend manure-based substrate. It takes you from culture to harvest in one order: two liquid culture kits, three sterile 5-grain spawn bags, three Grower's Select 44-quart monotubs, 25 lbs of substrate, LED lighting, a hygrometer for every tub, and the clean-work supplies to do it right. Just add spores or liquid culture.

How it works
- Start your cultures. Add spores or liquid culture to the two liquid culture kits and let them grow out. Run one strain in both or a different strain in each.
- Inoculate the spawn bags. Inject your culture into the three 5-grain spawn bags through their self-healing ports, then incubate until the grain is fully colonized.
- Spawn to bulk. Line each tub, then mix one colonized spawn bag with about 7.5 lbs of Willy's Blend per tub.
- Let it colonize. Keep air exchange low with the hole plugs while the mycelium grows through the substrate, and check the hygrometer on each tub.
- Fruit and harvest. Open up fresh air exchange through the filter disks, run the LED light, and mist as needed with the fine-mist sprayer until your mushrooms are ready to pick.

Common questions
What do I need to add to the Grow Big Bundle?
Just your spores or liquid culture. The bundle covers everything else for three monotubs — tubs, liners, filter disks and plugs, grain spawn, Willy's Blend substrate, lighting, hygrometers, liquid culture kits and clean-work supplies. Spore and liquid culture syringes are sold separately so you can pick your own strains.
Can I grow more than one strain at once?
Yes. The two liquid culture kits let you expand two different cultures side by side, and the three spawn bags and three tubs let you split them however you like — for example, two tubs of one strain and one of another.
How much substrate goes in each tub?
For a 44-quart monotub, use one colonized spawn bag with about 7.5 lbs of substrate. The five 5 lb bags of Willy's Blend (25 lbs total) cover all three tubs at that ratio with a little left over.
Can I inject a syringe straight into the spawn bags instead of using the liquid culture kits?
Yes. Each 5-grain spawn bag has a self-healing injection port, so you can inoculate it directly with a syringe. The liquid culture kits let you grow one syringe out into a larger volume of culture first, which gives you enough to inoculate several bags.
Can I stack the monotubs?
Yes. The three Grower's Select 44Q tubs can run side by side, on shelving, or stacked, and the LED strip light can be mounted horizontally or vertically to fit the layout. Grower's Select tubs are molded with extra-thick walls, so the bottoms don't flex when you move a loaded tub.
What is Willy's Blend?
Willy's Blend is the manure-based substrate developed by YouTube mycologist Willy Myco. Midwest Grow Kits is its only official producer in the continental USA, making it in Illinois with ingredients imported from Brown Treasure in Puerto Rico, Willy's long-time partner. The manure at its core is aged a minimum of two years.
