Already own a 66Q Large Grower's Select Monotub? This upgrade kit adds automated water-bath heating, filtered fresh air exchange, and full-spectrum LED lighting to the tub you already have. Includes the heater, air pump, HEPA filtration hose, timer, liner, filters, thermometer, and setup guide — you supply the monotub, spawn, and substrate. Perfect for experienced growers who want hands-off climate control without buying a whole new system.

Description

Already own a Large 66Q Grower's Select monotub? The MycoClimate™ 66Q Automation Upgrade Kit turns it into a climate-controlled grow chamber — water-bath heating, filtered fresh air exchange, a full-spectrum LED grow light and a programmable timer — without buying a whole new setup. Monotub not included.

This kit bundles the same automation, lighting and filtration components as our complete MycoClimate™ system, sized for the 66-quart tub you already have. A digital aquarium heater warms a water reservoir under your grow chamber for even, radiant heat, and a quiet air pump pushes filtered air into the tub around the clock — the two things a passive monotub can't do on its own.

  • Fits the Large 66Q
  • Water-bath heating
  • Filtered active FAE
  • LED light + timer
  • 66QGrower's Select fit
  • 50WDigital heater
  • 900 lmLED grow light
  • 24-hrProgrammable timer
  • TubNot included

Why growers add MycoClimate™

  • Automate the tub you already own – Convert an existing 66Q monotub into a climate-controlled system instead of starting over.
  • Even water-bath heat – The heater warms a water reservoir under the grow chamber, so heat surrounds the substrate gently with no hot spots and without drying it out.
  • Continuous filtered fresh air – An electric air pump pushes air through a silicone hose lined with HEPA-grade fiberglass filter material and out an air stone, so stale air doesn't build up.
  • Light on a schedule – A 900-lumen dual-spectrum LED and a 24-hour programmable timer handle the light cycle for you.
  • Built for indoor spaces – Closets, spare rooms and basements with poor airflow or cool temperatures.

What's in the kit

  • Custom digital thermometer & hygrometer — read temperature and humidity from outside the tub
  • Extra 66Q tub bottom — holds the water that creates the water bath
  • Grower's Select Smart 50W digital submersible aquarium heater with adjustable thermostat
  • Ultra-quiet electric air pump
  • Silicone air hose lined with HEPA-grade fiberglass filter material, with an air diffuser stone
  • Heavy-duty 24-hour timer with multiple programmable cycles per day
  • 900-lumen dual-spectrum LED grow light (110V, 36 diodes) and outlet light adapter
  • Pre-cut custom folded black monotub liner sized for the Large 66Q tub
  • 4 monotub filter disks & plugs, plus a custom hole plug with a pre-drilled tubing inlet
  • Hospital-grade gloves and alcohol swabs
  • Printed MycoClimate™ setup guide + instant video library access

You provide: your Large 66Q Grower's Select monotub, grain spawn and bulk substrate. Don't have the tub yet? The complete MycoClimate™ kit includes one — see monotub grow kits.

How the conversion works

  1. Set up the water bath. Put the extra tub bottom under your monotub, add water and the heater, and set the thermostat for your room temperature.
  2. Run the air line. Fit the custom plug with the tubing inlet into one of your tub's holes and route the filtered air hose and diffuser stone inside.
  3. Spawn to bulk. Line the tub, mix in your grain spawn and bulk substrate, and let it colonize with the heater running.
  4. Switch to fruiting. Hang the LED, set the timer for your light and air-pump cycles, and let the system hold conditions steady.
  5. Harvest and reset. Pick each flush, then pull the liner and clean up for the next run.

See it before you buy. Our illustrated MycoClimate setup & instructions guide walks the full cycle with photos — water volumes and heater settings by room temperature, air-pump timer cycles by stage, spawning, fruiting, harvest and cleanup. You can also watch the full setup video.

Common questions

Does this kit include the monotub?

No. The upgrade kit includes the automation, lighting and filtration components plus an extra tub bottom for the water bath. You supply your own Large 66Q Grower's Select monotub.

How does the water-bath heating work?

The submersible heater sits in water in the extra tub bottom beneath your monotub. The warm water heats the grow chamber evenly from below, so the substrate warms evenly without hot spots or drying out.

Why add an air pump to a monotub?

A passive monotub relies on its filter holes for fresh air. The pump pushes filtered air in continuously, which keeps CO2 from building up during fruiting. The hose is lined with HEPA-grade fiberglass filter material so the air going in is filtered.

Where can I find setup instructions?

A printed guide and video library access are included, and the full illustrated MycoClimate setup & instructions guide is on our website with water volumes, heater settings and timer cycles for each stage.
