I received my monotub adhesive filter discs and mushroom drying kit and 3other items very fast I was surprised by the size of the filter discs I thought they would be smaller I bought 4 five. Grain jars from you I. Innoculated all four jars with a spore syringe in may and exactly 30 days later I took the fully colonized cakes out of the jars and I. Put two cakes into a one gallon ziplock bag that I swabbed with alcohol inside and out all the cakes broke up very easy I did all the cakes that way then I mixed them with with a 5lb bag of midwest's casing material I put four filter discs on my 27 quart. Sterilite plastic mono tub container i got from big box store it's the perfect size for 4 jars and casing six days after mixing cakes and casing material mushroom mycelium has grown through half of the surface of the casing layer very happy with midwests products
What a difference, should have gotten these weeks ago. They are nice and large, giving my mushies more air. Filtered air, and they stuck on very easily. What a class act I have now.
Bought a 6 pack a year ago or so, I just peal them off the tub afterward and clean them and the tub for the next round. I just tore the adhesive off of one accidentally.
No more poly fill to deal with. These stick on filters are awesome. So many uses beyond monotubs.
Picked these up to use on my Ecosphere set up to improve gas exchange throughout my grow process. The air quality inside the tent smells fresher without reducing my humidity or affecting temperature in a meaningful way. I love being able to just buy what I need and trust that Midwest has done the homework for me :)
