To dunk or not to dunk that is the question we get all the time. To clarify, you should always dunk your cakes after each flush. Dunking is critical in getting the most out of your grow. Each time you dunk you are mimicking a rainstorm that saturates the ground. Ever notice in the summer that few days after a heavy rain you see mushrooms pop up all over your yard?
Everyone has a personal preference when it comes to dunking after birthing the cakes or not. There is no right or wrong answer to this. My personal advice would be to dunk right away. I've always noticed that I get the best results doing so. Any cake after birth will be starving for water. Sometimes you get some pretty nice pins in the jar which are hard to let go, but just pick those off and save for later!
