I've used the regular jars a few times with success, decided to give these a try for my first bulk grow- yowza they colonized quickly, gorgeous! Mixed with bulk substrate casing mix and once again colonized very quickly :)
I've had nothing but success everytime with these grain jars. Havent needed to even knock on wood for contamination, these have never let me down. I've ordered over 4 sets of these 3 packs and will continue to order these with confidence
I bought these jars after another [expensive ripoff] kit I bought fell flat on its face. This is my first time growing and I immediately noticed the difference between these super quick jars and the grain mycobags (two) from the other manufacturer's kit that did not colonize or got contaminated. The mycobags from the other source I fought with for weeks, trying to get any significant mycelium growth. These jars, on the other hand, were as colonized as far as the mycobags had gotten in 14+ days, in just 3 days. The mycelium growth was a lot cleaner looking with these jars too. I jumped the gun a little bit on opening my first jar that colonized before it could get completely white like in the photo, but about 90% of the grain was showing at least some mycelium so I hope special formula of grain makes up for that. We shall see what happens. The other jar I inoculated will stay in the incubator longer until fully colonized in case I jumped the gun too quickly on opening the first jar.
These jars of mixed grain never fail to produce amazing results. This is my third order and each time fluffy mycelium appears not fewer than three days after inoculation.
Fast colonization 0 contamination Great prices and fast shipping
