I received the flow hood and the product was packaged properly and with the utmost care. Everything was included as advertised including a well and thoroughly written instruction guide to assist with using the hood. The hood worked like a champ without fail. This laminar flow hood works perfectly, it is more than ideal for a beginner mycologist with a small work space. The quality of this product makes it very much worth the price! So far I have successfully used this with my grain transfers, LC/spore inoculations and also working with agar plates, with 0 contamination rate. The noise level is also surprisingly low, ear protection is not needed. I didn't get to order the reduced price spare filter with it as it was out of stock when I ordered but expecting the one it came with to last a long time! The only thing I ask from midwest grow kits is to make and sell a bigger model! Please!
