Ordered on 9/13/22, received everything quickly. On 9/24 inoculated both bags. Noticed one bag had seemed slimy and had what looked like a piece of shredded paper in it. Inoculated anyway. After a couple of weeks one bag was about 30% colonized

 

1 of the 2 bags had a rip in it and could not use. I contacted them and another is being sent.. So far I am seeing awesome growth on day 10! Perfect moisture content!

This is my 2nd order from Midwest spawn bags work very well. Have and will order again. I’m new to growing mushrooms and this made it easy to start. My local Grocery only carries a few different kinds so I have to grow my own. Thank Midwest!!

39/40 bags is a success to me! I had one bag not take but I am happy camper! Some are 30% colonized at day 13! I tried this last month on 4 bags and only 1 worked, the rest did nothing.. Did some research and found out about bacteria issues with some spore vendors (will not flame them) and after switching I am 39/40! I will be using my own 40Quart DubTubs but love the bags!
