Does a good job on sterilizing the grow room.
The smell of the air after the light performs it's magic is a good sign that it's working well. My whole house smells fresh and clean from using the light. Amazing technology no doubt.
I did lots research before buying and im so thankful i did buy.. I had some major mold issues starting up that i never had before i was safe and clean but still contaminating my jars, i order the light and had speed shipped to me and came very fast and after a few days or treating the jars the mold stopped on all 4 jars i was able to save them all now i run light 15 min every time i walk out grow room to be safe and i can finally relax lol.. i got the ecosphere tent and very impressed with it also but i was so comfortable with the jars that i moved into the tent with the rest of my jars and bags and they are doing great, the germ light is a life saver it will kill mold and keep from starting i fun few times a day and ill leave my phone in there sometime just kill off gems on phone so i can take my pics of grow and feel safe knowing im not bringing in any contaminations, for any grower that does this as a hobby its a must have, im order the hand wand next time just to have to help sterilize my equipment before i bring in as know can never be to careful but the germ light makes so much easier and gives you that peace comfort at mind knowing that you was clean and safe enough, everything i started under light is growing very strong and healthy.. one my best buys per equipment
I bought this 6 months ago, and have used it since. I can now leave a review. Used to have contamination issues, this has solved them. I use it to sterilize the area where I do innoculations, work with trays, tubs, and substrate, and no contams. EVEN BETTER! I put it in my bathrooms to sterilize, put it on the hour setting. It killed EVERYTHING, mold, bacteria, gnats, drain flies, and so on. Also, where I work , we have carpeting, and there had been a flood, and here is how I know how powerful this is: I put this on the 1-hour setting, put it in each classroom, my office, everywhere, some rooms I needed to do it in various places, but it killed the moldy smell that was starting to come from the carpeting. It killed carpet mold! Previously, there had been another time we had a flood, and I have had a team of "mold mitigators" come in. They sprayed bleach and chemicals and it was a god-awful mess. This time, I used this lamp, and it was the most effective, mess-free, drama-free solution. THAT'S how effective it is. I think everyone should buy one of these, it just sterilizes everything. Oh yeah, it does create ozone, but for me, that's not an issue.
