Replacement or extra desiccant for drying kits. Silica Gel & Activated Alumina are the two best desiccants for drying mushrooms. Silica gel is extremely fast at pulling moisture out while the alumina removes the lingering moisture as the silica slows down as it absorbs, creating a 2-stage drying process. Both desiccants work together to fully dry your mushrooms. Both desiccants can be easily recharged by baking in an oven or toaster oven at 275-300 degrees for 30 mins.

Thus product does an excellent job of ensuring the bringing of grown mushrooms to the mortal and pestil grinding stage. I use this after a dehydrator and have remarkable results!

If only everything were reusable and efficient. Air dry, then finish to a cracker crisp with these strange pellets that work like a charm. This shop has everything I need.
