I'm a total mycology novice, and these grain jars are essentially idiot(me)-proof. The brilliant design that went into these jars saves me hours of sanitization/still air box work down to maybe 2 minutes to sterilize a needle and inoculate a jar. And it doesn't stop there. The glass jars make it super easy to see when mycelial growth starts, and the shape of the jars lets the entire cake come out really really easily. I'm over the moon about this product!
